All surveys are being conducted for market research purposes. We value your participation, and we are interested in hearing your opinions. The following is a summary or the various ways we treat the information you provide us while a member of 'MetroLife' panel.

What Information is Collected? On this Web site, MRI and Metro do not collect any personally identifying information such as name, address or e-mail address without the knowledge and consent of the individual concerned. For example, such information is collected on this site through voluntary online questionnaires. Our surveys typically ask questions aimed at learning about Metro reader's opinions and preferences. The survey results are analyzed and compiled by MRI. Metro may disclose such analyses to advertisers or other third parties in the form of aggregate data, such as overall patterns or demographic reports that do not describe or identify any individual user.

Attention Kids
If you are younger than 18 you may not give any information about yourself on this web site. Do not enter your name, e-mail address, telephone number or any other information that might help identify you or your family.

Usage and Sharing of Personal Information
'MetroLife' member information is stored in our proprietary database, and used to deliver invitations to Web surveys. If MRI believes your profile makes you a potential candidate for a particular study, MRI may send you an e-mail invitation to make you aware of the survey opportunity. MRI may share your personal (but non-identifiable) data with Metro who request this information for use in aggregate analysis. For example, MRI will provide Metro with data collected from all 'MetroLife' surveys, with variables such as age, household income, or gender from the registration survey appended to the file. This is primarily designed to save our panelists time and effort, so they do not need to re-answer these questions on each and every survey. These appended data, however, will never include personally identifiable information such as your full name, mailing address, or e-mail address. Finally, MRI will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on MRI; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of MRI; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of MRI, its Websites and services, or the public.
